Baltic Sea States from Freytag & Berndt: a large, double-sided map of the area surrounding the Baltic Sea, with an index and street plans of major cities. Very subtle relief shading and spot heights, plus names of mountain ranges, lake districts, forests and other natural features indicate the topography. Road network shows motorway facilities, border crossings, gradients, etc. The map also shows the rail network. National parks and places of interest are highlighted. A grid showing latitude and longitude is at intervals of 30’. Map legend includes English.
The map shows a very large number of small town and villages. Within the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia and Belarus both Latin alphabet and Cyrillic versions are given.
A booklet attached to the map cover has an index which also shows postal codes for selected localities, plus street plans of the centres of Copenhagen, Hamburg, Helsinki, Oslo, Riga, St Petersburg, Stockholm, and Tallinn.
